FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: How is the rice cooked so quickly?
A: Our rice has been fully cooked and flash frozen through a process called Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) method. Reheating takes only 3 minutes in a microwave or 10 minutes on the stovetop.

Q: Do I have to use a microwave?
A: No, the product can be reheated in a pan on the stovetop as well. Follow stovetop instructions on box.

Q: Do I need to add any water to the rice?
A: When reheating in a microwave, DO NOT ADD WATER. The pouches contain cooked rice that is already more than 60% water. When reheating in a pan on the stovetop, adding a drizzle of water will help retain moisture. Adding too much water will make the rice mushy.

Q: Why is brown rice superior to white?
A: Brown rice is a whole grain product. The nutrient-dense layer (bran) is intact unlike in its counterpart (white rice). This layer consists of nutrients such as folate, iron, magnesium, and riboflavin. And, brown rice has about three times as much fiber as white rice.

Q: Why frozen brown rice?
A: The nutrient-dense layer of brown rice makes the rice turn rancid quickly and that makes uncooked brown rice difficult to store. Brown rice also takes longer to cook. Our flash freezing technology locks in the nutrition and texture producing a consistent, perfectly cooked rice with as little as 3 miutes of preparation time.

Q: Why eat organic?
A: Organic products are maufactured without the use of artifitial pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modicfied organisms (GMOs). Eating organic is better for your body and better for the environmnet.
